Ticking Boxes
There comes a point in everyone's life where it's time to make a change, and move on.Most of us recognise this need, and some of us actually effect the change required.
That time came for me in 2000, and one of the first things I did (after finding a job, and a place to live) was to create a list of all the things I wanted to do before I "kicked the bucket". So it was my "bucket list". I must have been on the right track as well because a film of that name came out a couple of years ago. However, I decided that I had to find a new name for my list!
In essence, I am simply ticking boxes - I've decided the things that are important in my life for me to complete, and so I'm crossing them off.
Most of my boxes are about travel: places I've dreamed all my life of visiting. But some of them are about things I want to have a go at.
This website is designed to be stories about the boxes I've ticked.
